What is the High School ministry about?

High school students are NOT the church of tomorrow. They are the church of TODAY (for crying out loud)! If we don't expect much from our students, they won't give us much. But we have lofty expectations for our students at Riverpark Bible Church. If they just ATTEND the ministry here at church, they are missing the point. The desire of the youth ministry is to prepare young people to DO the work of the ministry, not to simply attend. Teenagers need to grow up to be mature Christian adults and we are proactive in accomplishing this by teaching them the WORD OF GOD and attaching them to MATURE CHRISTIAN ADULTS! There are about 37 incredible adult leaders hoping to rub shoulders with more and more students, always and only for the glory of our great God.

Adult Leaders: Freshmen - Clark & Monica Cameron, Ron & Janine Ramos, Carl & Karen Kendall, Brad & Janie Sorensen and Anne Parker. Sophomores - Mark & Susan Bersano, Jared & Stefani Pendergrass, Scott & Terri Griffen, John & Cyndi Orito and Kevin & Tracy Kast Juniors- Kevin & Sally Kummerfeld, Darrel & Colleen Chavez, Drew & Bibi Rodgers, Sheryl Milhous and Leslie Griswold. Seniors Mike & Kathy Nimon, Ron & Cheryl Jarvi, Joe & Sarah Sanchez, Ken & Jean Sharits and Larry & Bette Schramm.

Sunday Morning: 9:00 - 10:15 Student led music worship, announcements and an opener leads into a study of Philippians led by Pastor Kevin in the Upper Room, Family Center.

This Thursday Evening: NO Youth Night ATTEND YOUR CLASS PARTY (SEE BELOW)

Chosen Generation Sundays 3 PM with Pastor Michael Bohr     

Christmas Class Parties  Thursday night, December 4. 6:30-9 PM. Freshman in Dining Room, bring $10 gift for exchange and benevolence offering for a needy family. Food is provided. Sophomores in Upper Room, Dress in silly Christmas outfits, bring a white elephant gift for exchange and a donation up  to $10 for a needy family. Food is provided. Juniors at Dylan Tuckers. Bring a white elephant gift and goodies to share with $ for a love gift. Seniors at Lydia Gale's home. $5 cost. Girls will start at 3 cooking dinner & decorating. Guys will bring home baked goodies at 6. All bring your  Christmas baby photo, a purple giraffe gift and a cash donation for a needy family.
