The following are heroes of mine. They are authors, pastors, theologians, and Bible teachers used by God to affect this world for His glory. In addition, these men have been an integral part of shaping my theology, worldview, understanding of the Scriptures, and therefore my Christian walk, preaching, teaching, and ministry.
Works of these men line my bookshelves, and I would encourage Believers to read their works and consider their teaching. Their great devotion to the Lord and His Scriptures will spur you God-ward and to a stronger love for the Word. These men are great men because of their great God!
It's my hope that young adults would not suffer from what some have called "chronological snobbery" wherein which people mistakenly equate newer with truer! We need to read the contemporary and the classics in order to develop a deeper understanding of God and gain a clearer perspective of who He is through various lenses of time. The young adults know my motto regarding theological authors: "The deader, the better!"
