Who leads this ministry?
Who, What, When, and Where?
If you're in your late teens through your twenties, and have a desire for God-centered theology, biblical study, passionate music and worship, and the fellowship of the Saints, please join us for the following:
- Sunday Mornings: 8:00 A.M. "Zero Period" in the Sanctuary's Conference Room. This is a group study through Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology. Now back for the Fall 2008 semester.
- Sunday Mornings: 10:30 A.M in the Upper Room (Second Floor of the Family Center). Before you come up, join us in the Sanctuary at 9:00 A.M. for corporate church worship. Bring your Bibles as we are making our way through the book of Psalms. In addition, our Music & Worship team are a integral part of our morning.
- Tuesday Nights: 7:00 P.M. in the Upper Room. For the Fall 2008 semester, we are going through the book, Respectable Sins, by author Jerry Bridges. We start each evening with announcements and a welcome for visitors, then our Music & Worship team prepares us to receive the Word of God with humility. For more information on our Bible Studies, check out the Preaching and Teaching page. On the first Tuesday of each month, we have a potluck, a time of music and worship, personal testimonies, and time in the Word. Bring your Bibles and a dish to share on the first Tuesday of the month!
This Tuesday: Potluck @ 7:00pm
- Broomball! On the fourth Friday of each month we play Broomball at Gateway Ice Center. We meet at church in the Upper Room at 9:30 P.M. The cost is $5.00 per person. Dress warm, wear tennis shoes, get ready to run AND fall on the ice! After Broomball, we hit In N Out Burger on Blackstone and Nees. Check out our Events page for more info on Broomball.
- Evangelism Training (E.T.): Fall & Spring Semesters - Monday nights and Thursday nights in the Upper Room, 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. Class-type learning and discussion as well as On-the-Street Application! If you're nervous about evangelism come along anyway and just observe. Come and learn about our call to be obedient in this area.
What's on the Young Adult Ministry calendar?
What is the vision of the Young Adult Ministry?
To place before young adults a high and exalted, holy and glorious, sovereign and omnipotent view of God, and the supreme authority of His Word.
- The primary platform for achieving this end is the teaching and preaching of God's Word. Corporate time in the Scriptures is often accompanied with God-centered music and prayer.
- Secondly, develop opportunities, activities, and events wherein which God's Word can be applied and lived out.
- Thirdly, provide time for corporate and individual prayer.
-
Lastly, commit to reaching out to others, sharing the Gospel message with the lost, serving to meet needs in the church, the community, and world.
Who is involved in the leadership team?
- Our Mentors, who come from all different backgrounds and are all interested in serving the Lord by pouring themselves into the lives of our Young adults.
