Adult Flock Groups
Our "Flocks"
9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
First Hour Classes
The "Newly Married" (w/o children) Class in the Dining Room. This class is made up of those couples who have recently married and have no children.
The "Douloi" Class meets in the Family Center Gym. This class is made up of men and women who range in age from the mid 40ish to mid 50ish.
The "Overcomers" class meets in the Worship Center in Rooms 101/102. This class is made up of men and women whose ages range from the mid 60ish to mid 70ish.
Also during the first service we have a "Small Group" meeting in the Conference Room. Likewise, we have a "Small Group" meeting in the "Choir Room" in the Chapel Building (by the shuttle pick-up/drop-off area). These groups have a teaching format differing from our regular Flock format. These groups are cross generational, uniting together for a particular study for a predetermined period of time. One may "re-enlist" for the next study if they so wish. These are small care groups, smaller than a regular Flock class.

Second Hour Classes
Topical Seminars/Training Elective - From time to time we will be offering special seminars and training electives in the Chapel.
The "Joint Heirs" class meets in the Family Center upstairs in Rooms 202/203. This class is made up of men and women whose ages range from late 30ish to mid 40ish.
The "Berean" class meets in the Worship Center in the Choir Room. This class is made up of men and women whose ages range from 70 years on up.
The "Koinonia" class meets in the Family Center. This class is made up of men and women whose ages range from 30ish to mid to late 30ish.
The "New Life" class meets in the Family Center Gym. This class is for younger married couples typically in their 20's.
The "Young Adult" class meets in the Upper Room. This class is for those in college or just out of high school.
The "Ambassadors" class meets in the Family Center in the Dining Room. This class is made up of men and women whose ages range from 50ish to 60ish.
The "Relevant" class meets in the Worship Center Conference Room. This class is for Career-Age adults who are looking for relevance, whose ages range from 18-30.
"Flocks" Format
Our Flock classes begin with refreshments and conversation. It is a time for many to share informally with each other about their lives, their challenges and their victories of the past week. People reconnect with those whom they haven't seen since last Sunday.
Group prayer begins next. Requests are shared with the rest of the "Flock" concerning people and events that need prayer. Some share their requests specifically while others share their requests in a general way. When all have had an opportunity to express their supplication and/or praise, the Flock, as a body, takes these requests to the Lord in prayer.
Individuals pray for one another, as well as give praise and glory to God for those things He has done or is about to do in the lives of His people.
Next the teacher leads a study of instruction and equipping.Topics and subjects vary but all are purposed to help the believer mature in their faith and to challenge everyone to keep moving to a higher level of Christian maturity. Each teaching unit lasts approximately 13 weeks.
