The Junior High Ministry serves as an extension of parents in the task of raising a generation of youth that is fully surrendered to Christ. In doing so, we seek to have Him praised and glorified in ALL that we do. Our goal is to truthfully preach the Word of God to all associated within the Junior High Ministry, believers and unbelievers.

Weekly Meetings & Activities

Sunday School: 9:00 am – 10:15 am

This includes time of worship music and Bible study. We meet in the Family Center Rooms 202/203 and are studying the book of Ephesians.

“Big Church”: 10:30 am – 11:45 am

Following Sunday School, the Junior High students sit together in the Worship Service on the north side of the sanctuary. Join us in the Sanctuary at 10:30 am for corporate church worship, where Pastor George preaches. Bring your Bibles as we will be looking to the Word of God.

Thursdays: Youth Group

6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Depending upon the time of the year and the month we have large group lessons, small group discussions, and/or special group activities (e.g. Video Scavenger Hunt, Bunko, etc.). Currently, Pastor Joey is teaching through “Follow Me” By David Platt.

James Scripture Memorization Challenge

2012 is behind us and now we are onto including the next twelve verses of James. I am so encouraged by how many people worked on or completed so much memorization of James. Great job, keep up the excellent work! To help you in this process of completing James we have once again made flash cards, book marks, and sheets of the next 12 verses. Any of the most recent Bible memory resources can be picked up at the church.
