Local Outreach
Jesus went out among the people who needed to know spiritual things. We hope that you will want to join us as we seek to follow His example...
Our Purpose
- Presenting the Gospel of salvation to lost people in our community
- Providing ministry opportunities and training to our church family
- Encouraging Christians in our community who have special needs
- Fulfilling practical needs of people in an effort to reach them for Jesus
HOMELESS BIRTHDAY PARTY
The Fresno Rescue Mission Homeless Birthday Party will be June 22, 9:30 am-12:30 pm. We will need 100 volunteers to host and serve about 400 people at the rescue mission picnic area.
OCEANSIDE MINISTRY
We will spend the week of July 9-13 partnering with our missionaries, Phil and Sharyn Waters, and First Baptist Church of Oceanside to present a VBS program. The church is in need of repair and paint; we will be helping with much of this need. This is an opportunity for families to spend mornings ministering together and afternoons and evenings vacationing together. Mark your calendar and watch for more information at the Local Outreach table in the Breezeway.
MENTORING OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY
We have the chance to serve with Match Two Ministries at the juvenile facility in Madera. Men are needed to be a friend and example to boys who want a mentor. You can help change the direction they are going. Many have never had a Christian man care about them. For more information, contact Elida Perez, Executive Director, at 304-2565, or inquire at the Local Outreach table in the breezeway.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick and in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”
Matthew 25: 35-40
