We will be studying the book "The Trellis and the Vine" as a church in cross-generational small groups. More information to come.

Plans are beginning now for the Ladies Holiday Tea.  Would you like to be a hostess, set a table, greet, decorate, help with food prep, be a part of this event? We will have an event planning meeting on Sunday, October 3, at 4:00 pm in the Dining Room. We want to invite any woman age 18 - 100 to come.

Join us for lunch on Monday, October 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Terri Gibson will be sharing her story with us. Bring your lunch and a friend as we share this time together.

A men's breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, from 7:00 to 8:30 am in the Dining Room. Ted Lepper will be our speaker. You may sign up at the Men's Ministry Table Sunday mornings.

Our all-church workday is Saturday, October 9, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Bring the family and help keep our church beautiful. All are welcome and there will be a variety of jobs for young and old.

The Riverpark all-church picnic is Sunday, October 10. You may sign up Sundays at the Family Ministries Table in the breezeway. It will be held at Woodward Park Sunset View Area from 12:15 to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00 per person (with a $20 family max) and we ask that you pay when you sign up.

Would you like to learn to knit or crochet?  A beginning level class is meeting in the home of Sharon Ewert at 1:00 pm (call the church office for information and directions.)  Bring your own materials, needles & yarn.  If you love to use your hands to enhance your family, home or gifts, this class is for you.

Come and share your Christian book library selections with other women. Bring your books for our set-up team on Monday by 4:00 pm. We will open at 6:00 pm for you to trade books.  We will do this again in January to trade back! 

Then stay for a wonderful time learning how to make a tasty Asian meal. Rich Kawomoto, former chef at Hume Lake Christian Camps, will demonstrate as he shares his heart. Tasting will happen as well! A great evening to attend with your mentor, a friend, or daughter! An RSVP ticket for $2.00 will be necessary to assist with our food prep. Contact the church office for questions.

Women's Birthday Connection is Thursday, October 28, at 7:00 pm. If your birthday is in October, you are invited to join Kristi in her home (8648 N. Fuller St.) for dessert to celebrate and get to know her and other women born in October! Please call the church office or visit the Women's Ministry Table to RSVP.
