Just read a portion of God's response to Job (Job 38-39).  Even in God's great love for Job - the Lord would not give Job comfort with explanations of why but truths about God's greatness. Implied in this - God is great and therefore can be trusted.  I'm grateful for the chance to memorize Psalm 139 for one phrase stands out.  "Such knowledge (of my God) is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it."  When it is all said and done - I do not have to understand God's ways in order to trust Him.  I just need to trust Him.
